Corporate Social Responsibility
At McGills, we take pride in making a positive contribution to our local communities in Cirencester, Malmesbury and Fairford.
Here is an overview of just a few of the ways in which we have been able to make a difference:

August 2023
I picked up the LINC collection pot on Thursday and I am pleased to let you know that there was £137.85 in it. On behalf of LINC may I say a very big thank to all who donated their loose change. Due to the current climate and increasing domestic costs we have received a great deal more requests for financial assistance from LINC patients during their long period of treatment. Thanks to the support of local businesses like McGills we can continue to offer this service.
August 2023
We are thrilled to be taking part in the Malmesbury Carnival Scarecrow Trail. The trail will run from 4th – 28th August and the theme this year is ‘Cartoon Characters’. Maps and entry forms will be available at the Tourist Information Centre in the Town Hall. Can you find all the Scarecrows and work out who they are?
August 2023
We are delighted to be the main Sponsor of the Fairford Steam Show on 19th & 20th August. The show is run by volunteers from the local community, so come along and show your support for this much-loved country show.
March 2023
We are pleased to announce the latest recipient of the McGills’ Community Fund is the Pop-Up Kitchen After School Cooking Club at Fairford Primary School. The £1,000 donation will help to fund the term-time sessions and will help to pay for kitchen utensils and equipment, enabling the youngsters to enjoy the full learning experience of cooking a meal from scratch.
January 2021
We are delighted to sponsor the Most Innovative Business of The Year category at the 2022 Fairford & Lechdale Business Club Awards.
February 2022
Colleagues from McGills recently provided students at Cirencester Kingshill School with an insight into the job application process, when they participated in a mock interviews day. The event aims to equip the young people with interview skills that will help them get ahead in their chosen future careers.
December 2021
Our Payroll Manager, Paula Schramm, stirred up a festive treat when she donated a batch of her delicious home-made Christmas puddings which were sold to colleagues in aid of our official charities. Thanks to Paula’s hard work and the generosity of our staff £75 was raised – with £35 donated to Young Minds and £40 to Evie’s Gift.

Take advantage of our free meeting even if you just need a second opinion. We’d really like a chance to prove to you that we can save you time, money and tax.
