McGills was delighted to sponsor the New Business of the Year Award at the FLBC Business Awards 2020.
December 2019
Throughout December we sold Christmas Puddings at the office to raise money for Evie’s Gift, a fantastic charity which provides help to the parents of critically ill children in hospital.

In December we were spreading the Christmas cheer in Malmesbury and Cirencester through the sponsorship of a number of trees, with the money being distributed to several fantastic causes.

Our staff collected dozens of gifts over Advent that were donated to the Big Yellow Bus Project, a local charity providing rough sleepers with free overnight accommodation.

We were delighted to make a donation of £250 to Heals, which is an incredible local charity. The money was out towards their Christmas Community Lunch in Malmesbury, where two of our team, Martin and Jenna, helped serve the food.

We had the privilege of sponsoring two of the fences at the Calmsden Horse Trials.

The team at McGills have been busy supporting local schools in our area. We helped students get ready for the workplace by conducting year 11 mock interviews for both Kingshill and Thomas Keble schools. Our firm sponsored the Malmesbury school enterprise initiative and we also supported local careers fairs at both Thomas Keble and Malmesbury schools.

We sponsored the Apprentice of the Year category at the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

We donated £400 from the McGills Community Activity Fund towards a new artificial surface at Malmesbury Bowls and Social Club.
2018
We launched the McGills Community Activity Fund in Malmesbury, inviting applications from groups that help local people participate in activities with others in the community and sponsored transport for people attending the Malmesbury HEALS (Help Empowerment and Local Support) Christmas Lunch.
