Sherston Wine Company

Sherston Wine Company, based in the village of Sherston near Malmesbury, has been a staple in the community since 1975. Specialising in providing drinks for a variety of occasions such as weddings, funerals, and social events, the business thrives, particularly during the summer months.

June Godwin, who started as a shop girl and eventually took over the company, has been working with McGills Chartered Accountants to ensure the business’s financial health and growth.

Polydron and Educational Advantage

Polydron and Educational Advantage are two innovative companies, both headed by Managing Director, Richard Hardstaff. Both businesses are based in South Cerney, Cirencester.

Established in 1983, the company designs, manufactures and supplies unique, hands-on teaching products, using geometric shapes that are suitable for children of all ages. With a staff of 12, the two companies look after around 290 customers in no less than 75 countries.

Agnito

Agnito was set up by Thomas Jenkinson in 2004 to fill a niche in the market, supporting small and medium-sized companies who did not have the time or requirement for a full-time in-house IT department, but still wanted advice and round-the-clock support.

Today, Oxfordshire based Agnito is a thriving company, having expanded to offer telephony and audio visual services for both businesses and homes. McGills has provided accountancy services to Agnito for the past five years, having been introduced to them by a consultant.

Goldborough House Kennels and Cattery

Goldborough House Kennels and Cattery, in Broad Town near Swindon, is a small, family-run business, with four employees. Established in 2004, owners Dawn and Geoff Norris offer high quality, licensed boarding facilities for 60 dogs and 40 cats.

Explaining how his business relationship with McGills first began, Company Director, Geoff Norris said: “We were initially approached over the phone, back in 2010. From the very start, Dawn and I liked the firm’s approach. The company seemed very professional and proactive – something I have to say was lacking with our previous accountant.”
