Agnito was set up by Thomas Jenkinson in 2004 to fill a niche in the market, supporting small and medium-sized companies who did not have the time or requirement for a full-time in-house IT department, but still wanted advice and round-the-clock support.
Today, Oxfordshire based Agnito is a thriving company, having expanded to offer telephony and audio visual services for both businesses and homes. McGills has provided accountancy services to Agnito for the past five years, having been introduced to them by a consultant.
Thomas explains: “What sets McGills apart is the holistic approach to the services they provide and the highly personalised one to one business advice I receive.
“Previously I had used one of the large accountancy practices, but I wanted to work with a firm that could give me more and appreciated the fact that, as a small but dynamic business, we needed an accountant with ‘fewer touch points’ who was hands on and always there for us.
“McGills is a company with ‘lots of hats.’ They have provided me with solid advice on a range of issues including tax, payroll and company strategy as well as providing personal financial advice over the years. They are only ever a phone call away and Simon Nuttall at McGills is extremely attentive to our business needs.
“The payroll service they provide gives me peace of mind. It’s one less thing to be concerned about and leaving the payroll function to McGills means that I don’t have to worry about legislative updates because they will always be there to advise us of any changes.
“To sum up my relationship with McGills – they are a very trusted partnership and I would highly recommend their services to other businesses.”
