A Cotswold-based accountancy firm has helped serve up Christmas lunch for local people from Malmesbury and the surrounding areas with a donation from its Community Activity Fund.
McGills Chartered Accountants contributed £150 towards transport to help local people attend the HEALS (Help Empowerment and Local Support) of Malmesbury Christmas lunch on Friday 21 December 2018.
The firm, which has an office in Malmesbury, launched its Community Activity Fund in 2018 to help fund activities for the local community.
HEALS of Malmesbury provides support for people in Malmesbury and the surrounding villages who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. More than 90 people attended the Christmas lunch at Malmesbury Town Hall.
Simon Nuttall, a Partner at McGills Chartered Accountants, said: “We are delighted that the lunch was such a success and that so many people were able to attend.
“At McGills Chartered Accountants, we are committed to supporting the local community in and around Malmesbury and we are pleased that we have been able to make a difference through our support for the HEALS of Malmesbury Christmas lunch.”
As well as its office in Malmesbury, McGills Chartered Accountants has an office in Cirencester.
