Staff at a leading Cotswold-based accountancy firm have been getting into the Christmas spirit by holding a Christmas Jumper Day.
Members of the team at McGills Chartered Accountants, which has offices in Cirencester in Malmesbury, raised £65 for the firm’s charity of the year, the Great Western Air Ambulance, by coming to work in Christmas jumpers on Friday 16 December.
As well as holding a Christmas jumper day, members of staff put their culinary talents on display by contributing to a staff lunch.
Alison Palmer, a partner at McGills Chartered Accountants, said: “The Great Western Air Ambulance makes the difference between life and death for dozens of people in this region every month and so I am pleased that we have been able to raise this sum to contribute to that work.
“Our staff clearly enjoyed the day and it was good to be able to bring some Christmas cheer into the office at the end of our 50th anniversary year.”
Earlier in the year, McGills celebrated its 50th Anniversary in June this year with a garden party, where a total of more than £450 was raised for the Great Wester Air Ambulance with a champagne raffle.
