McGills recently received a letter from the South West Area of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) to thank the chartered accountancy firm for their assistance.

Gloucestershire-based McGills completed the financial statement of the Chelsea Flower Show account for the South West Area of NAFAS, who had won a gold medal with their exhibit ‘Revitalisation and Regeneration’.

Affiliated to The National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, the South West Area of NAFAS was formed in 1955 and became a charity in 1987. Anne Bartlett, Chelsea Team Leader for the South West Area of NAFAS said: “Chelsea was a magical experience which was helped by generous sponsors, enabling us to fund the exhibit which lead to our gold medal.”

Alison Palmer, Partner at McGills, added: “It’s always lovely to receive feedback for the work we do, especially when we have sponsored an event such as this. My visit to Chelsea earlier in the year was greatly enhanced by feeling a little bit involved with the exhibit and the gold medal they had won – and the exhibit looked fantastic as well!  We enjoy having a great diversity within our client base and are more than happy to discuss anything of a financial nature so please do get in touch if you need help.”
